There is 2 typical vibration motor:

1.cylindrical motor

2.coin or flat motor

How to choose a motor for a mobile.

Usually,cylindrical type vibration motor have strong vibration and customer choose cylindrical motor before.

But now customer like coin type vibration motor better.

Why,

1.vibration motor have strong vibration but also noisy.

2.vibration motor are not easy to assemble and high unquality rate as it assemble outside.

3.compare from motor work direction and the position of the center of gravity differ to different vibration.Pls refer to follow picture.

Anyhow,now we have SMT motor which can be easy assemble to PCB and linear motor with sensitive vibration.

Why vibration motor not vibrate

Why vibration motor not vibrate

There is several reasons for no vibration of vibration motor. I choose one sample for reference.

One of the customer send the feedback that the 1027 motor have no current and not vibrate.

1.We disassemble the motor and checked.
The upper shell casing inspection: no abnormal examination

check the appearance of rotor rotor, check the power --both qualified

Check the stator components: the red wire of the stator assembly and the power of the brush -- NG,

the red wire end of the handle position of the plate machine damage (P1)

2.We find that the fundamental reason of the motor without current is the red line end plate injury to the soft power by the performance examination and disassemble inspection.
